About the Role
Digitron India is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Technician – CCTV & Access Control to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CCTV installation, networking, and electronic security systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects across Gujarat, delivering high-quality surveillance and networking solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission CCTV Cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and Access Control Systems (ACS).
- Perform IP address configuration, network switch installation, and RJ-45 cable crimping.
- Execute structured cabling, cable laying, cable termination, and rack/panel dressing.
- Carry out Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) splicing and assist with OTDR testing and troubleshooting.
- Configure and support Video Management Systems (VMS), preferably Genetec.
- Install and troubleshoot IP-based surveillance and networking devices.
- Diagnose and resolve CCTV, networking, and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Ensure all installations comply with project specifications, company SOPs, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and clients during installation and maintenance activities.
- Prepare installation reports, service reports, and other required documentation.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials responsibly while ensuring quality workmanship.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Qualification: 10th Pass with ITI or 12th Pass.
- ITI in Electrical, Electronics, Networking, or a related technical trade is preferred.
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Information Technology, Networking, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in CCTV installation, networking, or electronic security systems is preferred.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and relevant vocational training may also apply.
Preferred Skills
- Installation and troubleshooting of CCTV Surveillance Systems.
- Knowledge of Access Control Systems (ACS).
- Good understanding of IP Networking, IP Addressing, and Network Switches.
- Experience with Structured Cabling and Fiber Optic Cabling.
- OFC Splicing and basic OTDR testing knowledge.
- Familiarity with Video Management Systems (VMS), preferably Genetec.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical faults independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
