About the Role
Evervent Private Limited is seeking a motivated System Administrator & Jenkins Intern to support IT infrastructure, networking, and CI/CD automation activities. This role offers hands-on experience in system administration, troubleshooting, and Jenkins pipeline management.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and network devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage user accounts, system access, and IT assets.
- Assist in maintaining LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
- Monitor and maintain Jenkins servers and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support software deployment and automation processes.
- Work with Git repositories and deployment workflows.
- Ensure system security, backups, and documentation.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP).
- Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Docker, Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure), or scripting (Bash/Python).
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
Eligibility
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree (or pursuing) in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
