Position: Transport Manager
Location: Bijaynagar, Assam
Salary: Up to ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience and interview performance)
Job Summary
DDJS India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dedicated and experienced Transport Manager to oversee and manage transportation operations at our Bijaynagar location. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the transportation or logistics industry and possess strong operational, coordination, and team management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day transportation and fleet operations.
- Coordinate vehicle movement and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
- Plan and optimize transportation routes for maximum operational efficiency.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure proper upkeep of the fleet.
- Coordinate with drivers and operational staff to ensure smooth transportation activities.
- Maintain transportation records, trip reports, vehicle documentation, and operational reports.
- Prepare and update daily reports using computer applications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
- Resolve transportation-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor transportation costs and recommend process improvements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in the Transportation or Logistics industry.
- Must have hands-on experience in transportation operations and fleet management.
- Must have good knowledge of computer operations, including MS Excel, MS Word, and basic email communication.
- Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidates
- Candidates residing in or around Bijaynagar are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates from other locations must be willing to relocate to Bijaynagar.
