Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and publish news stories sourced from news agencies.
- Research, verify, and develop original news stories related to education, higher education, policy, innovation, and allied sectors.
- Create engaging headlines, summaries, and SEO-friendly content.
- Upload and manage content on the Content Management System (CMS).
- Ensure accuracy, factual integrity, and adherence to editorial guidelines.
- Monitor daily developments and identify newsworthy stories.
Requirements:
- Strong command of written English.
- Basic understanding of news writing and journalism ethics.
- Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
- Familiarity with digital publishing and SEO is an added advantage.
- Freshers with relevant internships or journalism/media education are encouraged to apply.
