SELCO Foundation is seeking a dynamic and creative Knowledge Orchestrator to strengthen the knowledge ecosystem for climate-resilient agriculture and allied livelihoods across North East India. Based out of Guwahati, the role will work closely with field teams and partners across the region to facilitate knowledge exchange, document innovations, and amplify learnings through creative communication.
- Conceptualize and host regional and national convenings, workshops, roundtables, and learning exchanges on agriculture and allied livelihoods.
- Facilitate cross-learning among farmers, community institutions, NGOs, government departments, academia, and private sector stakeholders.
- Build and strengthen partnerships with knowledge institutions and ecosystem actors across North East India.
- Organize and moderate webinars, virtual learning sessions, expert talks, and panel discussions.
- Conceptualize and host podcasts and interviews featuring practitioners, innovators, and community leaders.
- Develop strategies to disseminate field learnings and best practices across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Develop high-quality communication materials including articles, case studies, blogs, reports, newsletters, factsheets, and knowledge briefs.
- Design impactful presentations, pitch decks, infographics, and other visual communication materials.
- Translate technical concepts into engaging and accessible content for varied audiences.
- Build and nurture relationships with ecosystem partners, academic institutions, research organizations, and practitioners to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to document, curate, and disseminate knowledge products emerging from field implementations.
- Support strategic partnerships for knowledge sharing through collaborations with institutions, practitioners, and thematic experts across the agriculture and allied sectors.
- Design communication collateral using PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Coordinate the production of videos, podcasts, social media assets, and other multimedia content.
- Ensure consistency in branding and communication across all knowledge products.
- Document field learnings, implementation experiences, and emerging best practices.
- Curate and maintain knowledge repositories and digital resource libraries.
- Support the publication and dissemination of thematic reports and learning products.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Development Studies, Agriculture, Rural Management, Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in communications, knowledge management, event management, media engagement, or development communication.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong facilitation, moderation, and public speaking abilities.
- Experience organizing and hosting events, webinars, podcasts, and stakeholder engagements.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Strong visual communication and presentation development skills.
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent networking and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to undertake frequent travel across North East India.
