Job Summary
The Store Helper is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the store by receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing materials efficiently. The role ensures that inventory is handled safely, accurately, and in accordance with company procedures while maintaining a clean and organized storage area.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, unloading, and inspecting incoming materials and supplies.
- Organize and store items in designated locations following company procedures.
- Pick, pack, and issue materials as requested by various departments.
- Assist in stock counting, inventory checks, and cycle counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and warehouse areas.
- Load and unload goods safely using appropriate handling techniques.
- Label, arrange, and stack materials properly to prevent damage.
- Report damaged, expired, or missing items to the Store Supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records and documentation.
- Ensure proper storage of materials according to safety and quality standards.
- Support periodic audits and stock verification activities.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a store, warehouse, or inventory environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of inventory handling and storage practices is preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
