We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with 3–6 years of experience in business analysis, requirements management, and Agile software delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in gathering and analysing business requirements, preparing functional specifications, creating user stories, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise applications. Experience with Jira, Confluence, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and stakeholder management is essential.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and system requirements.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes, objectives, and system needs.
Translate business requirements into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder meetings, and backlog refinement sessions.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, and Scrum Masters to ensure successful solution delivery.
Manage and prioritise requirements and user stories using Jira.
Prepare process flow diagrams, workflow documentation, and business process maps.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, coordinating testing activities, and validating business requirements.
Analyse defects, clarify requirements, and support issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and requirement changes.
Maintain project documentation and knowledge repositories using Confluence.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Drive process improvement initiatives and recommend technology solutions to enhance business operations.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–6 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile software development methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
