Job Summary
Active Freight Logistics Pvt Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Truck Driver (HMV) to operate 20-feet, 6-wheel commercial trucks for local transportation within Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should possess a valid HMV license, have experience handling heavy commercial vehicles, and be familiar with Bengaluru's heavy vehicle traffic regulations and route restrictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 20-feet, 6-wheel commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Transport goods and materials within Bengaluru as per company requirements.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of consignments.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance or repair requirements.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain trip sheets, fuel records, and delivery documentation.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams regarding delivery schedules.
- Ensure safe handling and transportation of company cargo.
Eligibility Criteria
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License.
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving heavy commercial vehicles/trucks.
- Experience operating 20-feet, 6-wheel trucks.
- Good knowledge of Bengaluru city routes, industrial areas, and logistics hubs.
- Familiarity with Bengaluru heavy vehicle traffic regulations, entry restrictions, and permitted movement timings.
- Ability to plan routes and deliveries in compliance with city traffic rules.
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
