Key Responsibilities
Identify and generate new business opportunities in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, vessel agency, and related services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, exporters, importers, freight customers, and logistics partners.
Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and competitor activities. Generate leads through networking, client visits, referrals, and cold calling.
Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to customer requirements.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to close business deals.
Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
Coordinate with operations and documentation teams for seamless service execution.
Ensure regular follow-up with clients for inquiries, quotations, and business conversions.
Maintain MIS reports, sales pipeline updates, and business development reports.
Support payment follow-up and commercial coordination where required.
Candidate Requirements
Graduation in any discipline (MBA preferred)
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Shipping / Logistics Sales
Strong knowledge of shipping, freight forwarding, port operations, and logistics services
Existing client network in Mumbai market will be an added advantage
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-driven with strong business development capabilities
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
