Role Summary:
Lead product formulation, manufacturing operations, quality control, batch execution, and new product development for the skincare manufacturing unit.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Development & Formulation
- Develop new skincare, body care, and cosmetic formulations.
- Improve existing formulations for better performance and cost efficiency.
- Conduct stability, compatibility, and pilot batch trials.
- Prepare formulation documents, specifications, and manufacturing procedures.
Production Management
- Plan and supervise daily manufacturing activities.
- Scale formulations from lab to commercial production.
- Monitor batch manufacturing and ensure process consistency.
- Train machine operators and production staff.
- Optimize production efficiency and minimize wastage.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure GMP, hygiene, and SOP compliance.
- Approve raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain batch records and quality documentation.
- Coordinate product testing and regulatory requirements.
Procurement Support
- Recommend raw material and packaging vendors.
- Evaluate alternative suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
- B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
- Hands-on experience in formulation development and commercial production.
- Strong knowledge of emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, active ingredients, and GMP practices.
- Ability to independently manage a small manufacturing facility.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,922.13 per month
