Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on expertise in ITSM, custom application development, and integration. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, be capable of designing scalable solutions, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality ServiceNow implementations.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow ITSM Solutions and platform capabilities
- Build and maintain custom ServiceNow applications using App Engine
- Develop and manage Scripted REST APIs and inbound/outbound integrations
- Implement and optimize Workflows and Flow Designer solutions
- Configure and maintain ACLs (Access Control Lists) to ensure platform security
- Customize forms, lists, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and server-side scripts
- Collaborate with Leads, Architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and best practices compliance
- Create technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer
- Strong expertise in:
o ServiceNow ITSM
o Custom Application Development
o Integrations (REST, SOAP, Scripted REST APIs)
o App Engine Studio
o Workflows and Flow Designer
o ACLs and Security Configuration
- Experience with JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting standards
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model and CMDB concepts
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Certifications (Required / Preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required or Preferred
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Required or Preferred
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and platform performance tuning
- Exposure to other ServiceNow modules (CSM, ITOM, FSO etc.) is a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
