Job Description
Introduction
We are seeking a talented Appian Low-Code Developer with 3+ years of Appian development experience and exposure to financial services to design, build, and support enterprise workflow orchestration and process automation solutions. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, integration-led applications that streamline operations, enhance customer experiences, and ensure compliance, leveraging your expertise in Appian development, workflow management, case management, and modern cloud-based technologies.
What you'll do

You'll design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable Appian low-code applications using Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Record Types, Decision Rules, Expression Rules, Integration Objects, Reports, and Dashboards, while building reusable components and frameworks to accelerate delivery.
You'll design and implement end-to-end workflow orchestration solutions that automate complex business processes across multiple systems, teams, and approval stages, supporting task management, case management, SLA monitoring, exception handling, escalations, notifications, and workflow analytics.
You'll deliver financial services solutions for areas such as fund administration, investor services, and AML/KYC, collaborating with business SMEs to translate regulatory and operational requirements into effective technical solutions.
You'll work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, architects, business analysts, and technology teams to drive intelligent automation initiatives, enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and support integration-led application development.
You'll contribute to Agile delivery and governance by participating in sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives, supporting solution architecture and technical design, ensuring compliance with security and development best practices, providing production support, and continuously improving business processes using your 3+ years of hands-on Appian development experience.

About you
You have 3+ years of hands-on Appian development experience and 1–3+ years of financial services experience (banking, wealth management, fund administration, asset management, or fintech), with a proven track record of delivering workflow orchestration and process automation solutions in Agile environments.
You possess strong expertise in Appian technologies, including Process Models, Data Modeling, Expression Rules, Integration Objects, Appian Portals, and Appian Sites, and can develop scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
You have experience with workflow orchestration, case management, BPM, API integrations, SQL databases (MariaDB and/or SQL Server), relational database design, identity and access management, and a solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and SaaS platforms.
You are skilled at translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, demonstrating strong problem-solving, analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
You bring additional value through Appian Senior or Lead Developer certification (preferred), experience with Appian AI capabilities, intelligent document processing, RPA, process mining, enterprise architecture, integration patterns, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Azure, and designing client-facing workflow portals, while contributing as a Senior Individual Contributor or Technical Lead with a continuous improvement
