Job Overview
Baseline is looking for a Site Execution Engineer – MEP with 5–8 years of experience in industrial and commercial projects. The role involves supervising and executing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Firefighting, and Utility works.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Firefighting, and Utility works at project sites.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Review MEP drawings, layouts, specifications, and BOQs before execution.
- Ensure all MEP activities are executed as per approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to resolve site-related issues.
- Plan and monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities.
- Verify work measurements and support contractor billing and quantity reconciliation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, and final project handover.
- Identify execution challenges and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
Qualification & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech/ M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in MEP project execution.
- Experience in industrial and commercial projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical distribution, and utility systems.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Experience in contractor management, site coordination, and multidisciplinary project execution.
- Basic knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
- Working knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, and MS Excel will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, testing & commissioning, and construction safety practices.
- Good leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
