Job Summary
The Boys Hostel Warden shall be responsible for the overall administration, discipline, safety, security, welfare, and efficient management of the Boys Hostel. The Warden shall ensure a secure, hygienic, disciplined, and student-friendly residential environment while maintaining institutional standards and complying with the policies and regulations of KC Group of Institutions.

Key Responsibilities1. Hostel Administration
- Oversee the day-to-day administration and functioning of the Boys Hostel.
- Manage room allotment, occupancy, transfers, and vacation of hostel rooms.
- Maintain accurate records of hostel residents and hostel assets.
- Ensure compliance with hostel rules, regulations, and institutional policies.
- Supervise all hostel operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
2. Student Welfare
- Ensure the safety, security, health, and overall well-being of hostel residents.
- Provide guidance and counselling to students regarding personal, behavioural, and adjustment-related issues.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and disciplined living environment.
- Address student grievances promptly and fairly.
3. Discipline & Conduct
- Maintain discipline within the hostel premises at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections of hostel rooms and common areas.
- Prevent ragging, bullying, violence, substance abuse, gambling, and any unlawful or prohibited activities.
- Report incidents of indiscipline or misconduct to the competent authority without delay.
- Ensure adherence to hostel timings and code of conduct.
4. Security Management
- Monitor entry and exit of students and visitors.
- Ensure proper maintenance of visitor, gate pass, and leave registers.
- Coordinate with security personnel to safeguard hostel premises.
- Ensure emergency preparedness, including fire safety and evacuation procedures.
5. Housekeeping & Maintenance
- Supervise housekeeping and sanitation staff.
- Ensure cleanliness of rooms, corridors, washrooms, dining hall, and common areas.
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues related to electrical, plumbing, furniture, water supply, sanitation, and civil works.
- Ensure timely repair and upkeep of hostel facilities.
6. Mess & Food Management
- Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, and quality of food served in the hostel mess.
- Coordinate with mess staff regarding menu planning and food services.
- Address food quality and hygiene complaints promptly.
7. Health & Emergency Response
- Ensure immediate medical assistance for students during illness or emergencies.
- Maintain records of medical incidents.
- Inform parents/guardians and institutional authorities in case of serious illness, accidents, or emergencies.
- Coordinate with hospitals, doctors, and emergency services when required.
8. Parent & Student Communication
- Maintain professional communication with parents regarding student welfare whenever necessary.
- Assist newly admitted students during hostel orientation and settling in.
- Respond to hostel-related enquiries from students and parents.
9. Record Keeping & Documentation
Maintain and update:
- Hostel admission and occupancy records
- Attendance registers
- Leave and outing registers
- Visitor registers
- Complaint and grievance registers
- Maintenance complaint registers
- Inventory and asset registers
- Incident and disciplinary reports
- Hostel fee-related records (where applicable)
10. Coordination
- Coordinate with the CEO, Campus Director, HR Department, Security, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Transport, Accounts, and other departments for efficient hostel management.
- Assist during admissions, inspections, accreditation visits, university visits, and institutional events.
General Responsibilities
- Remain available in the hostel during assigned duty hours and respond to emergencies as required.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, statutory regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information.
- Promote cleanliness, discipline, mutual respect, and a healthy residential atmosphere.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Competent Authority from time to time.
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in hostel administration, educational institutions, student affairs, defence services, or residential campus management.
- Basic computer proficiency in MS Office, email, and record management.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
