A Field Network Engineer is a hands-on IT professional responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network hardware and infrastructure on-site at client locations or remote facilities. They bridge the gap between high-level network design and physical execution by deploying routers, switches, and cabling while ensuring continuous connectivity.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software errors on-site.
- Cabling & Infrastructure: Run, terminate, and test Ethernet and fiber optic cables, ensuring neat and compliant rack organizations.
- Network Monitoring: Evaluate network performance using diagnostic tools to identify latency, packet loss, or configuration issues.
- Site Surveys: Conduct physical walkthroughs at client sites to plan optimal placements for Wi-Fi access points and cabling runs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of hardware installations, network diagrams, and site-specific troubleshooting guides.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
