We are a dynamic & centralized team of talented Legal professionals. The Manager, Legal, will be part of this centralized team, assisting in legal operations for CACTUS and its overseas entities. Job responsibilities:
Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize business contracts (MSAs, vendor agreements, NDAs, lease deeds, etc.) and optimize contract processes using technology.
Legal Advisory & Risk Management: Provide actionable legal advice, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies for business initiatives.
Project Management: Independently manage legal workstreams and projects, co-ordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive matters to timely closure.
Compliance & Policy: Develop and monitor corporate policies, ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions, and stay updated on legislative changes.
Data Privacy: Advice on compliance with global data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, DPDPA) and standardize data handling practices.
Intellectual Property: Manage IP protection, enforcement, and filings; draft IP-related clauses and notices.
Litigation: Handle legal notices, pre-litigation matters, and coordinate with external counsel for litigation.
Employment & Labor Laws: Experience in employment and labour law, with the ability to advise on employment-related matters and support HR and business stakeholders on practical legal and compliance requirements.
Operational Excellence: Drive process improvement, standardization, and automation across legal operations, including developing SOPs, templates, workflows, trackers, and other tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
Qualifications and prerequisites:
Bachelor of Law (LLB) with work experience of 8-10 years.
Business Partnering, working closely with internal teams to address legal concerns and provide practical solutions that align with business objectives.
Strong communication skills to simplify legal concepts for non-legal teams.
Ability to independently manage projects, priorities, stakeholders, and high volumes in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
Fast closure and efficiency.
Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated expertise in international corporate and contractual laws.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities.
Highly motivated, independent, with a quality and results-oriented mindset.
