About NEST
NEST (A NxtGen Career School) is an industry-integrated career skilling initiative that partners directly with colleges through formal MOUs to prepare undergraduate students - primarily in engineering and AI/ML streams - for careers in GCCs and MNCs. NEST works closely with Tier-2 India's college ecosystem, embedding practical, applied learning into the student journey from classroom to career.
Role Overview
As a Mentor at NEST, you will be the face of NEST on college campuses - guiding students through applied, real-world learning rather than rote memorisation. You will travel to partner colleges across Tamil Nadu to deliver sessions, mentor students one-on-one and in groups, and represent NEST's values and standards at every institution you visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to partner colleges in and around Tamil Nadu to conduct mentoring sessions and represent NEST.
- Guide and mentor students on applied learning - helping them understand concepts and apply them, rather than memorise.
- Explain technical and career concepts with patience, clarity, and adaptability to different student levels.
- Stay current with evolving technology and industry trends, and continuously learn and adopt new skills.
- Collaborate closely with the NEST team and other mentors as a proactive team player.
- Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and college coordinators in both English and Tamil.
- Represent NEST professionally, upholding its standards during campus visits and interactions.

- Must have a computer science / IT background.
- Must know the basics of programming languages.
