About the Role
We are looking for a responsible, friendly, and hardworking Driver Cum Helper to join our mobile pet grooming team. The candidate will be responsible for safely driving the mobile grooming vehicle to customer locations and assisting the grooming team during daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Safely drive the mobile pet grooming vehicle to customer locations.
Ensure timely arrival at grooming appointments.
Assist the groomer in handling and safely managing pets when required.
Help with loading, unloading, and arranging grooming equipment and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the grooming vehicle.
Assist in preparing the vehicle before and after each grooming appointment.
Help with cleaning the grooming area and equipment after each service.
Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
Assist with basic customer coordination when required.
Ensure grooming equipment and customer belongings are handled carefully.
Follow company safety, hygiene, and pet-handling procedures.
Carry out other duties related to mobile grooming operations as assigned.
Requirements
Valid driving licence and good driving skills.
Previous experience as a driver/helper is preferred.
Experience with pets or willingness to learn pet handling.
Must be comfortable working around dogs and cats.
Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving equipment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy.
Clean and professional appearance.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
Knowledge of local roads and navigation apps such as Google Maps is an advantage.
