Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support and manage day-to-day operations of Government-based construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in handling government contracts, project execution, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring timely project completion as per quality and safety standards.
Candidates with proven experience in Government construction projects are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, execution, and monitoring of government construction projects.
- Coordinate with government departments, clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, quality, and cost control.
- Manage daily site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Review project schedules, work progress reports, and site documentation.
- Support preparation of project reports, MIS reports, and client updates.
- Ensure compliance with government project procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and site teams for smooth execution.
- Identify project risks and support timely resolution.
- Ensure safety standards and quality control measures are followed at site.
- Assist in billing, measurement verification, and project completion documentation.
Requirements
- Mandatory experience in Government construction projects.
- Experience handling government tenders, contracts, and client coordination.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, drawings, BOQ, and project execution.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
