Job Brief
A Junior Software Tester at Wenodo plays a critical role in ensuring product quality through structured Quality Assurance processes. The individual will be responsible for validating applications before and after release to ensure they function seamlessly, meet client requirements, and maintain cost-effectiveness.
The role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, performing debugging support, defining corrective actions, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform Manual Testing (UI and Functional) with strong analytical coverage.
- Conduct Functional, Integration, Compatibility, and Regression Testing.
- Execute test cases, generate results, prepare status reports, and manage defect reporting using JIRA / Click Up.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including:
o Test Plans o Test Scenarios & Test Cases o Traceability Matrices o Test Reports o Release Notes
- Ensure proper documentation related to test case creation, scenario coverage, and release validation.
- Participate in sprint discussions, requirement analysis, and client/stakeholder meetings.
- Coordinate with Managers and stakeholders to understand priorities and set realistic testing timelines.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with onsite teams for clarifications, discussions, and delivery alignment.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Clear understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle and Bug Life Cycle.
- Strong expertise in Manual Testing (must-have, core competency).
- Basic knowledge of Automation Testing (good to have).
- Hands-on experience in:
o Test Case Execution o Defect Management (JIRA / ClickUp) o Regression Testing o Status Reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for test tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
- Strong documentation skills for test artifacts and release documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder coordination capability.
- Use Case Modelling (added advantage). Education
- Minimum B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Manual Testing (Web and Mobile Applications).
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
