Job Summary & Key Objectives
The Team Lead – Maintenance is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted plant operations by overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery, utilities, and infrastructure. The role leads the maintenance team, manages breakdown troubleshooting, coordinates with production, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives continuous improvements to increase machine uptime and operational efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and schedule daily tasks of maintenance technicians.
- Ensure timely execution of preventive maintenance (PM) plans.
- Handle breakdown maintenance and root cause analysis.
- Monitor machine uptime, MTTR, MTBF, and implement improvements.
- Oversee maintenance of utilities including compressors, DG sets, HVAC, and panels.
- Manage spare parts inventory and vendor coordination.
- Ensure statutory compliance and safety protocol implementation.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to minimize downtime.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Implement Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain PM checklists, breakdown logs, and maintenance records.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 5–8 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in PLC, automation systems, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
