Job Title
Mechanical Assembly Technician / Machine Fitter
Job Summary
Responsible for assembling mechanical parts of special purpose machines, ensuring proper alignment, fitment, and smooth operation as per design drawings.
Key Responsibilities
· Assemble machine structures, frames, linear guides, cylinders, and fixtures
· Interpret mechanical drawings (2D) and basic 3D models
· Perform drilling, tapping, grinding, and fitting work
· Align motors, gearboxes, couplings, and moving parts
· Use measuring tools (vernier caliper, micrometer, dial gauge)
· Maintain tolerance and accuracy during assembly
· Support machine trials and adjustments
Qualification
· ITI Fitter / Mechanic OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
· 1–3 years experience in machine assembly / SPM / automation industry
Skills
· Strong mechanical fitting knowledge
· Ability to read engineering drawings
· Hands-on with tools and workshop practices
· Basic understanding of pneumatics (cylinders, valves)
Salary
₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month
