Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and target-oriented Sales Officer to join our team in Calicut office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attending enquiries on time, preparing quotations, following up on orders, closing deals and driving sales growth in the scaffolding and building materials and industrial products sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accurate quotations based on customer requirements.
- Follow up with clients to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential markets within India.
- Provide product knowledge and technical support to clients.
- Coordinate with the internal team for order fulfillment and client requirements.
- Travel within India for client meetings, site visits, and business development if required.
Requirements:
- 3+ Years of Proven experience in sales, preferably in building materials, industrial products, or equipment.
- Target-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Ability to prepare quotations and negotiate with clients effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- B.Tech, Diploma, or any relevant educational background is a plus.
- Scaffold sales or scaffolding industry experience will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel across India for business development.
General Requirements:
- Language Skills: Good spoken and written English and Hindi communication skills are required.
- MS Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Time Management: Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage priorities both within and outside the office environment.
- Email & Professional Communication: Good email etiquette and professional written communication skills.
- Industry Exposure: Knowledge or experience in seaports, airports, ship repair, aircraft maintenance, petrochemical production facilities, oil & gas production and distribution, and event industries will be considered an advantage during candidate shortlisting.
- Scaffolding Industry Experience: Candidates with relevant scaffolding industry experience will be given priority.
