Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer with experience in designing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and cleanroom projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing HVAC designs, heat load calculations, equipment selection, duct and piping layouts, BOQs, technical documentation, and supporting project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems including Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Fresh Air, Exhaust Air, Pressurization, and Smoke Extraction systems.
- Perform Heat Load Calculations using industry-standard methods and software.
- Prepare HVAC Design Drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop duct sizing, chilled water piping layouts, refrigerant piping, and equipment layouts.
- Select HVAC equipment including:
- Air Handling Units (AHU)
- Fresh Air Handling Units (FAHU)
- Fan Coil Units (FCU)
- Package Units
- VRF/VRV Systems
- Chillers
- Cooling Towers
- Pumps
- Ventilation Fans
- Air Distribution Products
- Prepare Equipment Selection Sheets and Technical Submittals.
- Prepare BOQ, Cost Estimates, and Material Take-Off.
- Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and BMS teams.
- Prepare HVAC Shop Drawings and Coordination Drawings.
- Support procurement by preparing technical specifications and vendor comparisons.
- Attend client meetings and resolve technical design queries.
- Review project specifications, tender documents, and consultant requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, SMACNA, and relevant international standards.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing, balancing, and commissioning.
Project Experience Preferred

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Experience in turnkey HVAC projects such as:
