Job Summary
The HR Executive – Payroll & Statutory Compliance is responsible for managing the hospital’s payroll process and ensuring compliance with all applicable statutory regulations. The role involves maintaining employee records, processing monthly payroll, handling statutory filings, and coordinating with finance and regulatory authorities to ensure timely compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Management
- Process monthly payroll for all hospital employees including doctors, nurses, technicians, and administrative staff.
- Maintain accurate payroll data including attendance, leave records, overtime, incentives, and deductions.
- Ensure timely salary disbursement and generate salary slips.
- Reconcile payroll with finance and accounts department.
- Manage full and final settlements for resigned employees.
2. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, and TDS.
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual statutory returns.
- Maintain statutory registers as per labour laws.
- Coordinate with government authorities and auditors during inspections.
3. Employee Records Management
- Maintain employee master data and HR documentation.
- Update records related to joining, confirmation, promotion, transfers, and exit formalities.
- Maintain personal files and digital HRIS records.
4. Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor employee attendance through biometric or HRMS systems.
- Validate leave records and integrate them into payroll calculations.
- Prepare monthly attendance reports.
5. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to hospital HR policies and labour laws.
- Maintain documentation related to payroll, compliance, and employee benefits.
- Support HR audits and statutory inspections.
6. Employee Support
- Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, PF, ESI, and tax.
- Assist employees with PF withdrawals, transfers, and ESI claims.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- Additional certification in Payroll Management or Labour Laws will be an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in payroll and statutory compliance, preferably in a hospital or healthcare industry.

- HRIS / Payroll software knowledge
- MS Excel and reporting skills

Preferred Skills
- Experience working in hospital HR operations.
- Familiarity with biometric attendance and hospital HRMS systems.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
