Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Manager to lead our Civil CAD training programs. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in civil engineering software, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for training and mentoring students. The Technical Manager will oversee faculty, develop course content, ensure training quality, and support students in achieving successful careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise Civil CAD training operations.
- Train and mentor students in industry-standard software.
- Lead and support trainers to ensure high-quality instruction.
- Develop and update course curriculum based on industry trends.
- Conduct technical workshops, seminars, and practical sessions.
- Monitor student performance and provide technical guidance.
- Coordinate with placement teams to improve student employability.
- Ensure lab infrastructure, software, and systems are up to date.
- Maintain training quality standards and documentation.
- Build relationships with industry professionals and corporate clients.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Civil CAD software:
- AutoCAD
- Revit Architecture/Structure
- STAAD.Pro
- ETABS
- SketchUp
- Civil 3D
- Navisworks (Preferred)
- MS Project (Preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in Civil CAD training, design, or project execution.
- Prior experience managing a training team is preferred.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows is an added advantage.
