Job Title: Production In-Charge / Production Engineer
Qualification:
Diploma in Mechanical / Polymer Engineering or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
4–8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/production, preferably in automotive component manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute production as per customer demand and Kanban system.
* Manage manpower allocation, shift activities and work distribution.
* Ensure safety, quality, productivity and discipline on the shop floor.
* Monitor Plan vs Actual, machine efficiency, rejection and defect outflow.
* Ensure adherence to Standard Work, TPS and production standards.
* Develop multi-skilled operators through training and skill development.
* Coordinate with PE, Quality, Maintenance, TPS and other departments for smooth production.
* Conduct process audits and ensure standard work adherence.
* Support new mould trials, process standardization and new part development.
* Identify and resolve machine, mould and process abnormalities.
* Drive Kaizen, PDCA, continuous improvement and reduction of non-value-added activities.
* Support mould change reduction, RJ concept implementation and process improvement.
* Maintain and update production layouts, work standards, records and process documents.
* Ensure quality built-in-process and achieve zero PPM / minimum rejection.
* Promote operator fatigue reduction, multi-skilling and productivity improvement.
Key Knowledge & Skills:
* Knowledge of Airbag, Steering Wheel, Aluminium Die Casting (ADC) and PU moulding processes.
* Machine operation, controls, troubleshooting and basic maintenance knowledge.
* Strong knowledge of Kanban, TPS, Standard Work and Kaizen.
* Engineering drawing reading and process understanding.
* Good manpower management, leadership and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication, reporting and decision-making skills.
* Positive attitude, ownership, adaptability and team-development mindset.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹43,000.00 per month
