Profie: Lab Chemist
We are looking for a Lab Chemist responsible for routine chemical analysis of zinc and micronutrient products using standard wet chemistry methods. The role includes testing raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Chemical Testing
- Perform quantitative analysis of:
- Zinc content (soluble and total)
- Iron content
- Chloride content
- Lead and other impurities
- Moisture and pH
- Conduct testing using standard laboratory methods such as:
- EDTA titration
- Volumetric and gravimetric analysis
- Wet chemistry methods
Quality Control
- Test incoming raw materials and finished zinc products
- Ensure compliance with Fertilizer Control Order (FCO) and internal specifications
- Identify and report deviations in quality
Documentation
- Maintain laboratory records and test reports
- Prepare batch test reports and Certificates of Analysis (COA)
- Ensure proper labeling and traceability of samples
Laboratory Maintenance
- Prepare reagents and standard solutions
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of laboratory
Qualifications
B.Sc. Chemistry (required)
M.Sc. Chemistry (preferred)
Skills:
- Knowledge of titration and wet chemistry
- Basic understanding of zinc and micronutrient testing
- Good attention to detail and record keeping
Salary: upto 60000
Location : Nasirabad
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
