UK based RF Community Media, who publish the Asian Standard Newspaper and Asian Sunday & Style Magazine is looking for a talented and forward-thinking Video Editor to join our growing media team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative all-rounder who enjoys working across video editing for podcasts, commercials and UGC content. We are looking for someone who is up to speed with AI-powered content creation. You must be creative and passionate about marketing and video, embracing new technology and can produce high-quality work to tight deadlines.
About the Role
You will play a key role in the editing of our podcasts and UGC video content and help us create compelling short form videos to embed within our e-newspaper. Therefore knowledge of marketing and creative concepts would be an advantage
Your responsibilities will include:
- Editing our podcast using existing brand materials
- Assisting the team with UGC content ideas, which you will later edit.
- Using AI tools to transform selected newspaper content into interactive digital experiences and short-form video for our e-paper.
- Supporting the team with video editing for social media, digital campaigns and editorial content.
- Working closely with our editorial and commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.
Essential Skills
Applicants should demonstrate experience in:
- Video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent.
- AI-powered creative tools for design, image generation, workflow automation and video production.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
