Job Description:
- Install, commission, and decommission HVAC systems, environmental chambers, and related lab infrastructure.

Install, wire, and support power electronics equipment including power supplies, inverters, drives, and test benches.

Coordinate and manage third‑party contractors for HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and facility-related work.

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, lab, and power equipment.

Ensure compliance with electrical safety, HVAC safety, pressure systems safety, and general lab safety standards.

Prepare and maintain safety procedures, SOPs, risk assessments, and lock‑out/tag‑out practices.

Support engineering teams during product development testing, validation testing, and failure investigations.

Assist Controls & mechanical engineers in setting up experiments, fixtures, data acquisition, and test instrumentation.

Maintain laboratory readiness including utilities, cooling capacity, power availability, grounding, and housekeeping.

Work closely with Control, Mechanical, Electrical, and Administration teams for space planning and lab operations.

Maintain records for equipment installation, calibration, service history, and vendor documentation.

Support audits related to safety, quality, and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical engineering discipline.

5 - 9 years (for Diploma) or 2 to 5 years (Degree) of hands‑on experience with HVAC systems, laboratory equipment, or industrial facilities.

Working knowledge of power electronics equipment, electrical panels, wiring, and measurements.

Experience managing and supervising third‑party vendors and contractors.

Strong understanding of laboratory safety standards and EHS practices.

Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.

Experience using test instruments such as multimeters, power analyzers, temperature and pressure sensors.

Good documentation, communication, and coordination skills.

Ability to multitask and support multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in spoken and written English.Experience working in HVAC product development or testing laboratories.

Experience in testing and validating electronic control boards

Knowledge of refrigeration systems, compressors, and environmental testing.

Familiarity with internal quality systems, and lab audit processes.

Hands‑on experience with sensor instrumentation and data acquisition systems.

Strong problem‑solving and root cause analysis skills.
