Department Overview
Client Services provides the world’s markets with monitoring pre-trade risk and automate post-trade processing of financial transactions for listed and over-the-counter trading. This also includes the provision of regulatory reporting services. Our networks link market participants in high speed-to-market, real-time communication across the trade lifecycle, globally. Services, such as the Harmony Network, have become the market standard for post-trade processing in an increasing number of markets.
Client Services Operations provide operational day-to-day customer support for all services supported within the Osttra suite of products. They are also responsible for the new client setup and new process adherence for the external client communities. They work closely with Professional Services, Product Management, Client Account Management, Business Development and Technology to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries. The group is also responsible for incident reporting and escalation. Within
this framework, the Client Services team acts as a critical line of defense, monitoring key production streams, identifying platform anomalies, and ensuring rapid operational response and escalation management.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-driven, and disciplined individual to join our team as an Apprentice Client Services Operations/ Operational Excellence team. This is an entry-level position tailored for fresh graduates, providing foundational, hands-on experience in a mission-critical 24x7 support environment. The successful candidate will act as our frontline system watch, identifying system inconsistencies, logging alerts, and helping ensure maximum platform resilience alongside processing routine operational workflows. Operational Excellence, we are looking for candidates who can work on Business Transformation projects leading to higher revenue, cost saves or ensuring customer delight.
Duties & Accountabilities
- As part of platform / application support, individuals are required to assist on everyday client queries pertaining to access management, system workflow, technical errors, connectivity issues, customization requirements etc.
- High level of direct client interaction.
- Monitor client query queues, diagnose and resolve any resulting exceptions or errors and work with internal groups to provide resolution. Respond to client requests by providing detailed analysis and feedback.
- Communicate and assist internal departments for onboarding new participants in a timely manner and effective implementation of the product.
- Participate in internal testing of applications, prior to any change going live in production. Work closely with internal teams for system enhancements.
- Perform testing and provide troubleshooting for the client to configure the product as per the requirements of the participant in the UAT and pre-prod environment and emulate the same design setup in the production environment as well.
- 24x7 Surveillance: Actively monitor multiple internal and client-facing systems, application networks, and trade lifecycles utilizing core enterprise tools (e.g., Grafana, Monolith).
- For Operational Excellence function, we are looking for candidates who can work on Business
- Transformation projects performing roles of a Functional Business Analyst / Project Manager. Someone having an analytical mindset, having a flair for problem solving, thinking out of the box, challenging the status quo, and a flair of grasping the AS IS problem statement and then proposing a TO-BE (i.e., go forward) solution is the person we are looking for Operational Excellence function.
Business Competencies
Education and experience
- Fresh graduate (2023 to 2025 batch) in a technical discipline (e.g., B.Tech/BE).
- Strong underlying interest in IT infrastructure, corporate networking, application support, and global financial markets.
- Conceptual awareness of message schemas or layout paradigms (FIX, XML, JSON, CSV) is an advantage.

- Ability to work in fast paced environment with client orientation

- Must be completely willing and able to work within a highly collaborative, rotating shift window.
