The Need:
As we plan for continued growth, Ducker Carlisle is seeking a person for the Senior Analyst role. This role is an integral part of the Strategy Consulting and M&A Advisory team. It is expected to contribute to the team as well as manage day-to-day execution of client projects. This person will be responsible for helping Senior Engagement Manager leading client engagements from strategy through execution, ensuring high-quality delivery, strong client relationships, and measurable business impact. This role serves as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, manages consulting teams, and drives projects to successful completion on time and within scope.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with Fortune 500 companies and leading middle-market private equity firms and to develop relationships with client stakeholders. The person must possess deep analytical, critical and creative thinking ability, strong technical skills, and excellent communications skills, including client-facing communications and presentations. This position reports to a Senior Engagement Manager with a focus on growing subject matter expertise, improving client facing skills and efficient independent operation in pursuit of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute individual workstreams within market commercial due diligence, sell-side engagements from data gathering through analysis and reporting.
- Oversee the work of junior analysts, providing structured guidance and mentorship to ensure consistently high-quality outcomes.
- Execute scope of work including market sizing, competitive benchmarking, book of revenue analysis, market trends and dynamics, voice of customer, and management discussions to support transaction thesis.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and professionalism of client deliverables.
- Support engagement leads in structuring workplans, coordinating timelines, and tracking deliverable quality across a live deal process
- Coordinate with target company management, client stakeholders, and internal teams to gather data, validate findings, and resolve open questions within compressed deal timelines
- Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights and risk/opportunity narratives relevant to the transaction thesis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in management consulting, transaction advisory, investment banking, or a similar analytical/deal-focused role.
- Prior experience in commercial/sell-side due diligence, M&A advisory, or private equity-linked assignments is strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in relevant industries and global clientele, with strong problem-solving skills in complex, fast-paced consulting environments.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and project management tools
