Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Salt Lake Sector 1, Kolkata
Salary: Up to ₹50,000 per month
About the Firm:
A well-established Chartered Accountant firm based in Kolkata, providing professional services in taxation, auditing, accounting, and financial advisory to a diverse client base including corporates, SMEs, and individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle accounting, bookkeeping, and finalization of accounts
- Prepare and file GST returns, Income Tax returns, and TDS returns
- Assist in statutory audit, tax audit, and internal audit assignments
- Manage client accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and MIS reports
- Coordinate with clients for financial data and documentation
- Keep updated with changes in taxation and accounting regulations
Requirements:
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Dropout preferred
- 4+ years of experience, preferably in a CA firm
- Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and compliance
- Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software
- Good analytical and communication skills
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
