Role: Interior Designer

Role Overview :
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Interior Designer to manage end-to-end interior design projects across residential and commercial spaces. The role involves conceptualization, planning, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, site supervision, and successful project delivery. Projects may range from approximately 500 sq. ft. to 10,000+ sq. ft. in scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop interior design concepts, layouts, space plans, mood boards, and material palettes.
- Design functional and aesthetically appealing residential and commercial environments .
- Incorporate Vastu principles and stakeholder preferences where required .
- Prepare detailed design drawings, furniture layouts, and finish specifications .
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, contractors, and project teams .
- Supervise execution and ensure adherence to design intent, quality standards, budgets, and timelines
- Manage and coordinate carpenters, masons, POP/gypsum specialists, furniture vendors, and finishing contractors.
- Conduct site inspections, quality reviews, and progress monitoring .
- Source materials, furnishings, lighting solutions, decor elements, and custom products .
- Work closely with promoters and key stakeholders, incorporating design changes and feedback effectively.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related discipline .
- 5-15 years of relevant experience in interior design and project execution .
- Experience handling residential and commercial projects independently .
- Strong understanding of:
o Interior Design & Space Planning
o Vastu Shastra
o Furniture & Joinery Design
o Material & Finish Selection
o Lighting Design
o Site Execution & Contractor Management
- Exposure to both traditional and contemporary design styles .
- Excellent aesthetic sense with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills .
- Ability to patiently understand requirements and incorporate revisions .
- Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and decision-makers .
Technical Skills
AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3Ds Max/Lumion, Photoshop, MS Office
