Role Summary
Responsible for managing branch accounts, supervising accounting team, ensuring timely MIS reporting, and handling reconciliations and compliance, with reporting to AGM – Accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee branch accounting operations
- Supervise and guide branch accountants
- Review and ensure accuracy of books of accounts
- Prepare and submit monthly MIS reports
- Perform and monitor creditors reconciliation
- Handle GSTR-2B reconciliation and ITC validation
- Ensure compliance with GST and accounting standards
- Coordinate with branches for timely data and issue resolution
- Manage and lead a team of 7 junior staff
- Report to AGM – Accounts and other senior management
- Co-ordinating with Audit Team
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: B.Com / M.Com
- Experience: 5–8 years in accounting, preferably multi-branch environment
- Strong knowledge of:
- GST (especially GSTR-2B reconciliation)
- Accounts finalisation
- Experience in team handling
