Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong knowledge of estimation, quantity take-off, costing, and project cost management. The candidate should be capable of independently handling estimation and quantity surveying activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and project estimates.
- Prepare BOQ, rate analysis, and cost estimates.
- Review drawings and specifications to determine project quantities.
- Prepare project quotations and cost proposals.
- Monitor project costs and compare actual costs with estimated costs.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Contractors, and suppliers.
- Assist in material and labour cost analysis.
- Prepare variation statements and evaluate additional works.
- Support tendering and procurement activities.
- Maintain proper documentation related to quantities, costing, and project expenses.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong knowledge of estimation and quantity take-off.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and rate analysis.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and costing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant QS/estimation software.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Candidates with Architecture, Construction, Interior, or EPC industry experience will be preferred.
