Role Overview
Lead the end-to-end finance and accounting function of the organization, ensuring strong financial controls, statutory compliance, accurate reporting, audit readiness, and support for fundraising and strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage end-to-end accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts.
2. Oversee bookkeeping, reconciliations, payables, receivables, payroll accounting, and month-end closures.
3. Lead and manage the accounts team and ensure timely, accurate execution of all finance activities.
4. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, PT, ROC, and other statutory requirements.
5. Coordinate and manage statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and regulatory reviews.
6. Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, cash flow reports, and management dashboards.
7. Drive financial controls, process improvements, and compliance frameworks.
8. Handle investor, lender, and due diligence requirements during fundraising and financing activities.
9. Coordinate with auditors, consultants, bankers, and external stakeholders.
10. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Candidate Profile
1. CA preferred (Qualified CA or CA Inter with strong relevant experience).
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or controllership roles. 3. Experience handling end-to-end accounting for a growing business.
4. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and financial reporting. 5. Hands-on experience managing audits and due diligence processes.
6. Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
7. Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
