About the Role
As our Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, fast-paced, and visually appealing videos. The ideal candidate should understand storytelling, pacing, sound design, and audience retention techniques.
Type of Content
You will primarily edit content related to:
- AI and technology
- Video editing tips and tutorials
- Graphic design and creative education
- Content creation strategies
- Productivity and digital tools
- Business and personal branding
- Educational and explainer videos
- Short form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
- Long form YouTube videos
Editing Style
We are looking for an editor who can create:
- High retention edits
- Dynamic motion graphics
- Smooth transitions
- Clean typography and subtitles
- Zooms, speed ramps, and visual effects where appropriate
- Professional sound effects and background music integration
- Color correction and basic color grading
- Modern editing inspired by top creators while maintaining originality
Skills Required
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Good understanding of storytelling and pacing
- Experience with motion graphics and animated text
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively
Bonus Skills
- Thumbnail design
- Knowledge of AI tools for editing and workflow automation
- Experience with YouTube optimization and social media content
