Role Purpose
The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business performance, identifying trends, improving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. The role involves working closely with multiple departments to monitor business KPIs, prepare MIS reports, and recommend process improvements to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Analysis & MIS
- Analyze business performance, sales, productivity, portfolio quality, collections, and operational KPIs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports and dashboards.
- Track branch-wise, region-wise, and product-wise business performance.
- Generate insights from data to support business strategy and management decisions.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
2. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple business functions.
- Create business performance reports, trend analysis, and management presentations.
- Prepare dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting.
3. Process Improvement & Business Support
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend operational improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve productivity and turnaround time.
- Support implementation of new business initiatives and strategic projects.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis for business planning.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Credit, Operations, Risk, Finance, HR, and Compliance.
- Coordinate with regional/business teams for performance tracking and data gathering.
- Assist management in tracking action plans and business initiatives.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MIS reporting.
- Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or data visualization tools preferred.
- Strong business acumen and attention to detail.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in NBFC, Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Consulting, or analytics roles preferred.
- Experience in business performance tracking, MIS, portfolio analysis, or process improvement is desirable.
