Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and organized Admin Executive to manage the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of our hospital canteen. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth canteen operations, maintain hygiene and food-quality standards, coordinate staff, monitor inventory, and ensure excellent service for hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the hospital canteen and ensure smooth functioning.
- Supervise canteen staff, including attendance, duty allocation, discipline, and performance.
- Coordinate with hospital administration, housekeeping, security, and other departments as required.
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
- Ensure compliance with hospital food-safety and hygiene policies.
- Manage daily stock of food, beverages, groceries, and other supplies.
- Maintain proper inventory records and coordinate with vendors for timely procurement.
- Monitor daily sales, cash collection, expenses, and basic financial records.
- Check portion sizes, food availability, pricing, and service standards.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Maintain daily reports, records, registers, invoices, and documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate routine operational requirements where applicable.
- Ensure equipment and canteen facilities are properly maintained and report breakdowns promptly.
- Monitor wastage and take appropriate measures to control operational costs.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure staff follow proper hygiene, grooming, and safety practices.
- Support audits and inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties assigned by hospital management.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; a degree/diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Good knowledge of inventory management, staff supervision, and basic administration.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel and maintaining daily reports.
- Ability to handle staff and coordinate with multiple departments.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices will be an advantage.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, disciplined, responsible, and customer-focused, with the ability to independently manage day-to-day canteen operations and staff.
