Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused, and experienced Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, provide excellent guest service, maintain a clean and organized bar area, and ensure compliance with all food safety and responsible alcohol service regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and making recommendations when appropriate.
- Ensure all beverages are prepared accurately, efficiently, and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and storage spaces.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock requirements to management.
- Verify the legal drinking age of customers and follow responsible alcohol service practices.
- Process customer payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Adhere to company policies, hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Assist in setting up and closing the bar, including restocking supplies and completing daily checklists.
- Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a restaurant, hotel, lounge, or similar hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beverage presentation, and bar operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (if required by local regulations) is an advantage.
