Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Chef to prepare hygienic and nutritious meals for staff, patients, and visitors. The candidate will be responsible for food preparation, kitchen supervision, and maintaining quality and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to the menu and hospital standards
- Ensure food quality, taste, and hygiene are maintained at all times
- Supervise kitchen activities and support kitchen staff when required
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and cooking areas
- Monitor food stock and inform management about shortages
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food materials
- Follow hospital safety and hygiene protocols
- Minimize food wastage and maintain kitchen discipline
- Perform duties during rotational shifts as assigned
Qualifications:
- Education is not mandatory
- Diploma or certification in Hotel Management/Culinary Arts is an added advantage
Experience:
- 3–10 years of experience preferred in hotel, catering, or hospital kitchen
