Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Finance Head to lead the finance and accounts function across the organisation. The role will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, MIS, cash-flow management, statutory compliance, internal controls, audits, receivables, payables and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts department.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, financial plans and cash-flow forecasts.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS and management reports.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability and centre-wise financial performance.
- Track daily collections, outstanding receivables and payables.
- Establish effective financial controls and prevent revenue leakages.
- Monitor billing, discounts, refunds, credit notes and collection processes.
- Ensure timely statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax and other applicable requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Review bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny and financial transactions.
- Monitor centre-wise P&L and identify areas for cost optimisation.
- Develop and monitor finance-related KPIs and dashboards.
- Ensure proper accounting practices and documentation across all branches.
- Work closely with HR, Operations, Pharmacy, Purchase, Front Office and Management.
- Support management in strategic financial decisions and expansion planning.
- Implement and improve accounting systems, processes and internal controls.
- Manage working capital and ensure adequate liquidity.
- Review vendor payments and supplier contracts from a financial perspective.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly and annual accounts.
- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective measures.
- Lead and mentor the finance team across centres.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com or equivalent.
- Experience: 8–15 years in finance, preferably with hospital/healthcare experience.
- Experience handling multi-unit / multi-branch finance is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, GST, audits and financial controls.
- Excellent knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, leadership and decision-making skills.
- Experience in healthcare billing, collections and revenue-cycle management will be an advantage.
