Job Summary:
Elecon Conductors (P) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Testing Engineer – Transformer to perform on-site testing, inspection, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for power and distribution transformers. The candidate should have strong knowledge of transformer testing procedures, electrical systems, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine and pre-commissioning testing of power and distribution transformers.
- Perform transformer tests such as Insulation Resistance (IR), Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR), Winding Resistance, Magnetic Balance, Oil Testing, and Vector Group verification.
- Conduct testing of associated equipment such as CT/PT, breakers, cables, and switchgear.
- Prepare detailed testing reports, commissioning records, and technical documentation.
- Attend customer sites for installation support, troubleshooting, and fault analysis.
- Ensure all testing activities are performed as per safety standards and company procedures.
- Handle and maintain testing instruments and ensure their proper calibration.
- Travel to different project locations as per company requirements.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of transformer testing equipment and electrical measuring instruments.
- Good understanding of HT/LT systems and transformer protection systems.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and PPE requirements.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Candidate:
- Candidates having experience in Power Transformers, Distribution Transformers, Testing & Commissioning, and Electrical Maintenance will be preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Partapur, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh
