Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Executive to manage stock levels, ensure inventory accuracy, coordinate with stores and vendors, and maintain smooth inventory operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in retail inventory management, stock auditing, and ERP systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of stock movement, receipts, transfers, and dispatches.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and inventory audits.
- Reconcile physical stock with system inventory and resolve discrepancies.
- Track slow-moving, non-moving, damaged, and excess inventory.
Stock Receiving & Dispatch
- Verify incoming stock against purchase orders and invoices.
- Ensure proper tagging, barcode generation, and stock entry in the ERP system.
- Coordinate stock transfers between stores and warehouses.
- Monitor dispatches and ensure timely delivery of inventory.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Maintain stock registers, GRNs, transfer notes, and inventory records.
- Generate reports on stock aging, shortages, and replenishment requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
Coordination
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Sales, Warehouse, and Store teams.
- Follow up with vendors regarding shortages, damages, or pending deliveries.
- Support management in inventory planning and stock forecasting.
System & Process Management
- Update inventory transactions accurately in ERP software.
- Ensure adherence to inventory control procedures and SOPs.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce inventory losses and improve efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Experience with ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in retail, fashion, apparel, or ethnic wear industry.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in fashion retail, ethnic wear, bridal wear, or apparel industry.
- Knowledge of barcode systems, stock audits, and warehouse operations.
- Experience handling multi-store inventory management.
