Job Summary
USHAS Fire Technocrat Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely purchase of quality materials required for fire protection and safety projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the procurement of fire safety equipment, electrical materials, and project-related items.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare purchase orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and project teams.
- Maintain purchase records, invoices, and vendor documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for invoice verification and payment processing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, B.Tech or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchase management (experience in fire safety, construction, electrical, or MEP industries is preferred).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, ERP/Tally, and procurement processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple purchase requirements.
