Sales Assistant – Retail Garments.
We are seeking an experienced Sales Assistant for our clothing store. The ideal candidate must have a passion for men's fashion, excellent customer service skills, and basic computer system knowledge to manage daily point-of-sale (POS) operations.Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Welcome customers, understand their style needs, and guide them to the right garments.
- Sales Driving: Meet daily sales targets by suggesting complementary items, accessories, and alternative fits.
- System Operations: Handle billing, process payments, and manage returns using our in-store POS system.
- Stock Management: Keep track of inventory, receive new arrivals, and organize stockrooms.
- Visual Merchandising: Arrange clothing displays, mannequins, and shelves according to store standards.
Mandatory Requirements
- Retail Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience specifically in garment or fashion retail.
- System Knowledge: Basic computer skills to operate billing software and look up inventory data.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact confidently with clientele.
- Product Knowledge: Quick understanding of fabrics, sizes, fits, and current men's fashion trends.
- Availability: Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts.
