We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee financial operations for our interior designing firm. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, project-based accounting, and financial reporting. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, and supporting financial decision-making to enhance business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation
- Handle project-wise accounting, cost tracking, and profitability analysis for interior design projects
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and cash flow to ensure financial stability
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
- Oversee invoicing, client billing, and vendor payments
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial processes
- Supervise junior accounting staff (if applicable)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred)
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in interior design, construction, or project-based industries
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks)
- Good understanding of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Good communication and abilities
