Store Manager Job Description
A Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail store to ensure excellent customer service, efficient staff performance, and achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth business activities.
- Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to achieve performance goals.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Maintain inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and minimize inventory losses.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and compliant with company policies and safety standards.
- Handle cash management, banking, and financial reporting.
- Monitor product displays and merchandising to maximize sales.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate employees.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
