Role :Senior Database Engineer

Responsibilities
- Take shared ownership of the health, performance, and scalability of MySQL database environments. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through query optimization, indexing strategies, and schema design improvements.
- Partner with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Software Developers to design robust data models and enforce best practices.
- Manage and optimize AWS RDS (MySQL) instances, including instance sizing and high-availability configurations.
- Plan and execute database migrations and version upgrades with minimal disruption to live services. - Analyze Java application workloads to improve database interaction efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database and infrastructure issues within cloud-based environments. - Provide technical guidance on the selective adoption of NoSQL solutions as the data architecture evolves.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
Must to have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Engineer or in a similar role, with a primary focus on MySQL in production environments.
- Deep understanding of MySQL internals, including the InnoDB storage engine.
- Experience managing and optimizing AWS RDS environments.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable, and scalable database solutions. - Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders effectively. - NoSQL solutions (e.g., AWS DynamoDB)
Nice to have:
- Experience with Big Data technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure.
- Knowledge of Databricks.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
Pay: ₹587,249.44 - ₹924,045.51 per year
